Here are my thoughts:
Poor Rosie, Vicar's is really in trouble with the #1. Looks like we'll go another year without a female winning jockey.
My heart sinks for Jimmy and Rajiv, but I rather the 20 then the 1.
Who the heck is Harry's Holiday?
Samraat with a scratch will break from the gate that 11 years ago produced the only NY bred winner in Funny Cide. (Samraat and Uncle Sigh are both NY breds, but the Wood runner up is the better of the two of them)
While many think California Chrome who is the favorite got the perfect post. Victor may have to deal with some bumping. Even though Joe will be on the inside of him has tons of big race experience, Jose who is on the outside of him is only 20 and by far the biggest race of his life (big brother Irad will be riding Uncle Sigh).
So happy to see Joe Jr. in the race and to ride for Todd! He and Rosie are former Delaware Jocks.
Speaking of Todd, too bad he couldn't convince Mr. Ramsey to scratch We Miss Artie more. He even with the Eclipse winner Javier on has no chance.
Calvin can't be happy with 19, won't get to rail quickly.
Mike is sitting in the catbird's seat.
Geeze 2nd Derby back from retirement and Gary once again gets a bad post.
I'll be back with the videos OR a post on tomorrow (weather hasn't been good here and I use natural lighting to record my videos).
