I'm not sure what Todd Pletcher and WinStar are pointing him towards. Unfortanlly the Florida Derby form basically fell apart. Ice Box has not been the same since his second place finish in the Kentucky Derby, Pleasant Prince has done well against easier company and First Dude can't seem to get his nose to the line first. Funny did okay off layoffs, so I hope his nephew does as well. Even if he was eligble, there would be no way he would be ready for the Empire Classic (thankfully as a KY bred he's not). Here's to hopeing that he can regain the form that he showed in the Sam F. Davis this year and the Delta Jackpot last year.
