Goodbye Unbridled Belle

This is about a week late as Kate Hunter from Paca Paca Farm (and one of the best resources for American horses in Japan) confirmed that 2007 Delaware Handicap winner and two time third place finisher Unbridled Belle passed away in February in Japan shortly being sold at Keeneland's January sale. I remember the first time the first time I saw the Broken Vow mare. It was in that year's Obeah where she finished second to Peak Maria's Way. The very next time it was in the DelCap where she romped and helped Ramon Dominguez being an even bigger name.

Kate's tweet:

This is the only photo that I know that I def took. Unfortnally I don't remember the year, but it was def not 2007 as I had a crummy camera then. This may have been taken the year after where she finished third to Hystericalady.

and her DelCap win:

RIP Belle, we'll miss you.

Note: I appologize for this double post today, but this was numbing for me personally.
