Horse Racing in Movies and TV Shows

With Secretariat coming out later this year and HBO picking up Luck, I thougt that today's post would be about horse racing in Movies and TV Shows/Movies/Specials. Believe it or not, horse racing has been featured in an episode or two on several shows. Cold Case, Psych, The Dead Zone, and Walker, Texas Ranger are just a few shows that I know there have been horse racing involved.

As for tv movies/specials:

Barbaro: A Nation's Horse (NBC)
30 for 30: Charismatic (ESPN) (this has not been released yet)
Barbaro (HBO)

Secretariat
Phar Lap
movie about Takeover Target (not sure if this is still a go, but as of last year the script was being written)
Seabiscuit

Of course this is just a small group of shows, movies and specials. Hopefully Luck does well once it comes to tv screens sometime next year and Secretariat does well at the Box Office.
