Upcoming Pedigree Looks and Other News

I've been a bit lazy when it comes to PL's lately, and I appoligze. I think it has to do with my new monthly posting instead of every other week and/or every week. No matter! They will be returning in April and will continue to go monthly. Here is the run down for the next 4 months.

April: Better Than Honour
May: Derby and Oaks winners (unless I've already done their pedigrees (thorough sibs), then it would be the runners up and so on)
June: Met Mile winner
July: Delaware Handicap winner

I had planned to do an international horse, but really couldn't narrow one down (yes it was really that difficult). Maybe in August that will be the plan since most of the month will be a little bit of a lull for the 3yo's (with the exception of the Haskell and Travers of course).

The second MMDS poll will be going up tomorrow, if you haven't voted yet please do! It closes Sunday at Noon.

I will be having a video preview of the Florida Derby next week and possibly the Dubai World Cup, but I can't guarantee that.

Previews Upcoming

This week with four major G1 events on the grass and dirt, I will be having two preview posts upcoming. The first will be on Thursday which will be a preview of the Sword Dancer and Alabama. Friday's post will be the Arlington Million card. In addition to those two posts, I will be having a Stakes History post on the Sword Dancer and as early as tomorrow a very special Pedigree Look on a Beverly D winner (as I did an Arlington Million winner previously). 

Next week for the Travers, I will be bringing out some good ones for posts and will be doing two PL posts on Alpha and Golden Ticket. Finally Pacific Classic, I will have a PL post on the horse that broke Cigar's winning streak, Dare and Go.

To wrap up the two big summer meets will be a very special PL post on a recent Woodward winner and Del Mar Futurity winner. 

September will start with previews for all 6 books of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
