Happy Aniversary!

One year ago today, I started this blog as a place to talk about horse racing. Now here we are a year later and I'm very proud of myself right now for making this milestone. The reason being? I've started and stopped several horse racing blogs before, just really never got into the swing of things. That was until I started this one, started reading other blogs and doing research on other places other then forums, Bloodhorse and Thoroughbred Times.

And now here we are a year later still talking. I really want to thank you guys for keeping up with the blog. I have a special post going up tomorrow, so there will not be any stakes previews this week (there really isn't that much stakes action anyway. Sunshine Millions looks like crap this year sadly and the first G1 of the season could be dominated by one or two horses).

However before I go for tonight, jockey Justin Vitek who was battling cancer the past two years passed away this morning. As someone who has lost a loved one due to cancer, my heart goes out to his family especially his young daughter.
