Countdown to the Delaware Handicap- Intro

Starting today, 2 posts a week will be dedicated to the Delaware Handicap which is the biggest race at my hometrack. Great horses such as Flower Bowl, Obeah, Our Mims, Jameela, Relaxing, Susan's Girl, Old Hat and Busanda won the race. In more recent years champions such as Fleet Indian and Blind Luck have come out on top. I will be having a profile on a winning horse twice a week leading up to the July 21st mile and a quarter race.

Here are the horses I'm planning on profiling starting on Sun.

Week 1: Jameela, Basie
Week 2: Crowned, Quill
Week 3: Obeah, Susan's Girl
Week 4: Island Sand, Urbane
