Races that I'm Looking Forward To

Happy Halloween everyone and Happy Breeders' Cup week! It's finally here, all of the hard work put in throughout the year will be culminated into 2 days of racing on Friday and Saturday. I will be prevewing all of the races on Weds and Thursday, but for now these are a few of the races that I'm looking forward too.

Juvenile Fillies- East (My Miss Aurelia and Grace Hall) vs West (Weemissfrankie), a good old shootout. The edge IMO goes to Grace Hall and Weemissfrankie since they have both gone and won going two turns. My Miss Aurelia ran faster then Union Rags did in the Champange, but he ran into trouble in that race.

Juvenile- Another East (Union Rags) vs West (Drill and Creative Cause) showdown, but not as compelling IMO. I'll take whoever Calvin Borel is riding, and Creative Cause.

Juvenile Sprint- The newest race on tap. This should be a good one with Secret Circle, Vexor, Trinniberg and Seeker all among the favorites.

Mile- Finally a 3yo+ race. The big question will be can she do it? Can Goldikova do the improable and win her fourth Mile in what will most likley be her final race? Or will Gio Ponti finally break through after finishing second to two girls the past two seasons (Z in the Classic in 09, Goldi in the Mile last year).

Juvenile Fillies Turf- I sware this is the last 2yo race I'm looking forward to. Recent Alcibides winner Stephanie's Kitten, Somili Lemonade and one of my favorite 2yo's Hard Not to Like come here.

Sprint- This race is loaded, Big Drama, Giant Ryan, Amazombie, Euroears, Jackson Bend (although he prob. should be the Dirt Mile), and others fight it out here.

Ladies Classic- 3yo Filly honors are up for grabs with Zazu being out. Don't count out the older horses though, they are a good group dispite no Blind Luck or Havre de Grace.

Classic- Historically speaking who ever wins the Classic wins HOY (although the past three years that has not been the case). Four horses have a chance: Flat Out, Havre de Grace, Stay Thirsty and even Uncle Mo. I think that it will end up being between the two older horses, but one of other two will be 3yo Champion. We'll see what happens.
