9 years ago today, the second son of the Slewacide mare Belle's Good Cide dropped in Saratoga Springs, New York. A colt by Distorted Humor, he was sold at the NY Bred Select Yearling sale to Tony Everard, gelded and named Funny Cide. Sold privatly to Sackatoga Stable, Funny went undeafted his 2yo season for trainer Barclay Tagg. As they've said before the rest is history. Here is his biggest win of his career, the 2003 Kentucky Derby!
