Breeders' Cup Winners and Losers

Even though I didn't cover the Breeders' Cup here this year, I figure that I do the Winners and Losers again. So here they are!
Loser- California Stewards: Bayern should have been DQ'ed from his win in the Classic. He interfered with Shared Belief which cost him finishing 2nd at best.

Winner- Chalk on Friday: All four winners where either the post time favorite or the second choice.

Loser- Europeans: 1 win for the weekend, and if it weren't for a JPN bred based in France winning the Mile they would have been shut out completely.

Winner- Family: Kent Desermoux rode for his brother Keith and wins, Wesley Ward decided to skip the BC this year to watch his son's cross country meet (and wins 2 races), brothers City Zip and Ghostzapper get wins as sires and possibly the biggest one Rosie Napravnik announcing that she is retiring from the saddle as she is pregnant with her first child after winning the Distaff.

Winner- Afleet Alex: 10 years after he was 2nd the Juvenile he gets a winner in Texas Red in the same race.

Loser- Darley: Just sold Bayern's sire Offlee Wild (a son of the first Classic winner Wild Again) to Turkey, ouch.

Winner- Main Sequence: I think he's going to be your HOY

Winner- Wise Dan: Everything almost went his way again! I think he'll be your Older Male champ because they where pitiful outside of him and MS.

Loser- Moreno: I'm sorry, but can't stand his connections and honestly glad he finished last. Although it looks like he was injured in the race which sucks for him and hopefully he will be okay.

Winner- Toast of New York: He ran great! Either he loves California or he is just blossoming. Watch out for him in Dubai.

Winner- Keeneland: I think everyone is happy that the BC will be out of California for a year. I don't care if it's pouring, it will be much better then this year IMO.
