Stopchargingmaria and Unbridled Forever are the horses to beat. Fortune Pearl and Joint Return where 1-2 in the Delaware Oaks, although that route hasn't had a ton of success lately. Size hails from the same female family as Blame and Archipenko. Got Lucky hails from the same female family as Bluegrass Cat and Super Saver. Miss Besilu is 1/2 to Saint Liam, America is from Jazil and Rags to Riches female family. Finally Catch My Drift is 2 for 2.
This is the first time in a while that many of the fillies in this race have mile and a quarter pedigrees. The question will be in that can they go that far. I'm not sure SCM or UF can, which is why I'm going with an upset.
Picks
1st: Got Lucky
2nd: Miss Besilu
3rd: Size
Look for several posts next week, especially one on the Travers.
