6 Commanding Curve (KY) 3/R L S Bridgmohan 117 D Stewart 5/1
7 Wicked Strong (KY) 3/C L R Maragh 123 J A Jerkens 2/1

Tonalist is the horse to beat. After all, he handed California Chrome his first loss of 2014 and denied the Triple Crown in the Belmont. Commanding Curve did not have a great Belmont after running well in the Derby. Wicked Strong will be running with blinkers for the first time, which hopefully will help him stay calm in the post parade. Of the three "unknowns" (well unknowns to me) both Legend and Ulanbator have finished behind Kid Cruz who after a poor Preakness returned to lower company with wins.

Picks:

Win- Wicked Strong: Been on the bandwagon too long to get off now, like the addition of the blinkers and honestly outside of Tonalist is the best horse in this race.

Place- Tonalist: He should win here, but Belmont winners don't always have a great post Belmont record.

Show- Kid Cruz: IMO is better than Commanding Curve and should like the Saratoga surface.

Dark Horse: Legend
