The Queen Anne turned out to be a one horse race when Toronado (IRE) won over the American ex-pat Verrazano and French raider Anodin (IRE). The son of High Chapperal (IRE) won for the second time over older horses (the first was in last year's Sussex). Up next will likely be matchup with today's St. James's Palace winner Kingman (GB).
As for Verrazano, I expect the More Than Ready colt to return to the US for the Breeders' Cup. Anodin could also be a BC candidate as his full sister is the one and only 3 time Mile champ Goldikova (IRE).
