After a week off, the list is back! This is the last week with seven horses with next week going up to 10!
1. Cario Prince (Pioneerof the Nile): Nothing in the FOY scared me other then if he can't get the lead as both Wildcat Red and General A Rod ran their hearts out. He was sold to Darley, but stays in the McLaughlin barn (Kieren a portion of Darley's US stock). Will be in the Godolphin blue in the FL Derby.
2. Top Billing (Curlin): Could only do 3rd in the Fountain of Youth, but he lost nothing in defeat going from basically last to almost first... on a speed favoring track.
3. Samraat (Noble Causeway): If there is a horse that has heart, it's this one. He maybe rated a wee too high, but... I'm not too thrilled with the other top horses not starting yet. There's a point where you have to define the horses you want to be in the race and the horses who will actually be there.
4. Honor Code (A.P. Indy): That last sentence applies to this guy, but... I am not giving up hope on him getting at least one race under his belt.
5. Uncle Sigh (Indian Charlie): Two very tough beats to Samraat, could the Wood be the chance for him to finally get to the winners circle?
6. General A Rod (Roman Ruler): A nose loss in the Fountain of Youth, I like him over the winner based on his pedigree.
7. Candy Boy (Candy Ride (ARG)): Will be interesting who he faces in the SA Derby.
Others Considered
