Here is the second part of today's double post! Part 1 was on Alpha, now here is his co-Travers winner.
Name: Golden Ticket
Year Born: 2009
Color: Dark Bay/Brown
Sex: Colt
Sire: Speightstown
Dam: Business Plan
Broodmare Sire: Deputy Minister
Profile: It took six times for Golden Ticket (Speightstown) to break his maiden which he did in February of 2012. He wasn't supposed to be a co winner of the Travers. In matter of fact his two stakes tries before that race where a second place finish in the Tampa Bay Derby and a fifth in the Lexington. He was coming into the Travers pretty well though with a runner up finish in an allowance on Travers day. After his dead heat finish in the Travers, he would go onto finish third in the PA Derby and second in the 2013 Stephen Foster. In his last race, he won the Prairie Meadows Handicap which is at the Travers distance. Here he is being named WinStar's star of the week.
