8 Stacelita (FR) 5 M L 123 Dominguez Ramon A. Brown Chad C.
This is Stacelita is the class of the field however, there are two horses who have a chance to beat her. Aruna has either been 1st or 2nd since coming over from Europe. Deluxe was a head in her NA debut and is a daughter of Hasili. I gotta go with her in this race, the distance should not be a problem for her, and now that she has one US start under her belt, she should smash these horses. Stacelita for second and Aruna for third.

4 Mission Approved 7 H L 126 Maragh Rajiv Chatterpaul Naipaul
5 Winchester 6 H L 126 Velasquez Cornelio H. Clement Christophe
6 Grassy 5 H L 126 Velazquez John R. Clement Christophe
Cape Blanco has been a thorn in Christophe Clement's side the past two races. Winchester IMO should have been Champion Grass Horse since he did defeat Gio last year. Grassy was involved in a photo finish that made Sportscenter since almost the entire field was in that finish. He's gone onto become a pretty good stakes horse. Mission Approved won on this track in the Spring going gate to wire in the Manhattahn. Teaks North won the UN in the summer and Dean's Kitten was third in the Million. In what I think is one of the most wide open races on the day, Cape Blanco gets upset. By who? I have no idea, my best guess is Winchester.

This could be a better race then the Sprint! The winner of this race will undoubtly be the favorite in the Sprint (unless The Factor and/or Uncle Mo run). Of course Sean Avery (the horse) is injured, so the luster of the race is taken off a little bit for me at least. Never the less, Euroears vs Big Drama vs Trappe Shot. Add in 3yo Justin Phillip and some very nice horses including Apriority and you've got yoruselves a race. I've said all year long that Trappe Shot is my Sprint pick. I'm going to stick by it, however I would be suprised if Euroears, Big Drama or Apriority win.

3 Uncle Mo 3 C L 117 Velazquez John R. Pletcher Todd A.
4 Golddigger's Boy 4 C L 115 Elliott Stewart Preciado Ramon
Much like the Vosburgh, you've got most of the best dirt milers in the Nation in here. 4 of these horses have a great chance to win, but I think 3 of them are most your most likely winner. Jersey Town at a mile might be the best of them all, however with his nose loss Uncle Mo may have actually shown the world that he's back. Jackson Bend bless his little heart, but he's some what stuck between two races which are not his ideal distances. I'm not 100% who wins this race, but go watch Golddigger's Boy prove me wrong and win :P.

4 Satans Quick Chick 5 M L 123 Prado Edgar S. Odintz Jeff
5 Havre De Grace 4 F L 123 Dominguez Ramon A. Jones J. Larry
There are two ways to think about this race. 1. That on paper, Havre de Grace should have no problem with these horses. 2. Royal Delta is a 3yo and improving. With that thinking, my pick is.... both. The reason why I'm thinking this is because Grace has never gone 1 turn in her life, where as Delta has. Here's the thing, this is this is prob. Grace's best distance and Delta prob. wants a mile and a quarter. With that being said, Grace should beat Delta with some ease on her way to the Classic. Life at Ten just because of her class for third.

6A Flat Out 5 H L 126 Solis Alex O. Dickey Charles L.
7A Birdrun 5 H L a 126 Velazquez John R. Mott William I.
No Tizway (illness), no problem. A solid field for the race, although most of these horses are Marathon bound. My one question is... why is Ice Box in this race? Drosselmeyer, A.U. Miner, Flat Out and Birdrun are all nice horses, but honestly I think Stay Thirsty is the best 3yo in the Country right now. The issue is he is going against older males, but the Mile and a quarter should be no problem for all these horses... except for Ice Box and Rodman. Flat Out for second and Drosselmeyer for third.

6 Basmati 2 C L 122 Talamo Joseph O'Neill Doug F.
The Del Mar Futurity was roughly run, Drill is going to have to prove that the roughness didn't take much out of him. Creative Cause should have no problem moving to dirt and is my pick for the race. However, like Drill, he was involved with the rough racing in the Futurity.

5 Great Hot (BRZ) 3 F L 116 Sutherland Chantal Avila A. C.
6 Ultra Blend 5 M L 124 Flores David Romero Sherman Art
7 Zazu 3 F L 118 Rosario Joel Sadler John W.
This could be the toughest field Blind Luck has ever faced, sans Grace. Ask the Moon is coming East to West after winning both the Ruffian and Personal Ensign at Saratoga. Those races though wheren't against the best of the best, she gets a class test here. Champange d' Oro has turned into Ruler on Ice's big sister, but keep in mind she is a G1 winner. Ultra Blend shocked them all at Del Mar, but she'll have to prove that it's no fluke. Should Royal Delta falter, a win here would prob. lock up 3yo Female honors for Zazu. With that being said, Blind Luck even though this is not her best distance should win. She hasn't raced since her DelCap win, and has time to recover from that trip. Zazu for second and Ultra Blend for third.

8 Game On Dude 4 G L 121 Sutherland Chantal Baffert Bob
9 Nijinsky's Song 3 C L 116 Berrios Hector Isaac Harrington Mike
Miss Match ran poorly against the males in the HGC, and would need to win here in order to get her name up with Grace and Clover. Acclamation did not do well in his previous dirt start this year and Coil takes on older males. Game on Dude should rebound on returning to dirt, and Awesome Gem is coming off his Longacres Mile win. Tres Borroachos has turned his career around, but has never been a top caliber horse. The other horses I'm afraid I don't know much about. I gotta stick with Gemster. He always tries his best, even when he's not the best horse in the race. Besides, his blinkers are off so we can see his pretty face again! Dude for second nad Miss Match for third.

9 Medaglia D'amour 5 M L 119 Talamo Joseph Cecil Ben D. A.
I haven't really been following the Turf Females out in Cali that well this year, but I've been a fan of Cambina's for a while so she's my pick in here.
So that's it!
Of course on Sunday is Europe's big day of racing with Goldikova making her final start in France before trying for win #4 in the Mile. Then it's Arc time! While So You Think and Workforce are your most proable winners. I'm going with the filly trifecta of Sarafina, Snow Fairy and Galikova (Goldi's little sister). Sara is going to be very hard to beat, Snow almost got the best of So You Think last time out, and Gali has a kick a** sister.
More importantly, good luck to all horses this weekend and make sure they return safe and sound!
