If you have been reading my Twitter account the past couple of days, then you will have known that I have a big announcement to make. Well that announcement is tonight and I really hope that you are all excited to read what this announcement is.
Well, I've decided to expand Thoroughbred Chat to include a podcast. I have actually tried this once before, but failed miserbly (I do have more podcast experience then that though). The name of the podcast is The TB Gallop. Episodes will be released on Thursdays and should be between 30 to 50 minutes in length after all the editing is done. I'm going to be recording the first episode tonight and it will be avaliable from the The TB Gallop blog on Thursday. For now, I'm not going to put it up on iTunes, however if this is successful I will submit the feed to there (they pretty much accept everything from my history, but we'll see).
Now I will admit that I don't have the greatest voice in the world, so you will need to bear with me the first couple of episodes while I get my feet on the ground. However, this is actually something that I've been wanting to do for a while and I know I can succeed at. I'm just going to take it one episode at a time.
Dispite starting a podcast, there will be plenty of exclusive coverage on here. I won't be announcing my Derby and Oaks lists on the podcast and most of the races will be previewed on here as well. I hope you all enjoy it!
Very cool. Looking forward to checking them out
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeletelook forward to it
ReplyDeleteracingtitbits is looking forward to your first podcast. One for my wishlist must be segments on horse racing beyond the boundaries of the US. Some awesome animals out there. How many people in the USA have heard of horses like Frankel in the UK or Black Caviar in Australia. These are serious contenders to be better than say Uncle Mo in the US but the US media chooses to ignore and creates a false situation.
ReplyDeleteRacing Titbits: I will be having international racing (in matter of fact one of the races I will be previewing will be the Dubai World Cup). However, because I'm in the US, I will be focusing mainly on US racing. With that being said next week (depending on how she does this weekend) a certin filly who is in Australia could be mentioned.
