When you think of Charlotte Weber when it comes to horse racing, you think of all the nice horses that she has owned. My Typhoon, High Fly and Miesque's Approval are just three of them. However, the best one could be a Giant's Causeway colt who is a half brother to one of the greatest females of all time. The great female I'm talking about is Zenyatta and her little brother Souper Spectacular could be the next great turf horse in the US.
Named in part as Weber is an heiress to a vast soup fourtune, Souper Spectacular started his career on the dirt, he was moved to the turf. He's been nothing, but money since then. Just take a look at his latest start which was this past weekend.
While the Hollywood Derby is coming up too quickly for him to make it, I would not be suprised if a stakes race is in his future. He's going to have some big expectations to live up to though. We all know about Z's accomplishments and Balance was not a bad horse herself. Their dam has really never thrown a bad horse (well there was Treasure Trail, but that's a different story). I'm looking foward to what he does next year as a four year old against the likes of Paddy O' Prado, Yankee Fourtune and Champ Pegasus.
