Delaware Park opens it's 2010 Season in a month, Saturday, May 1st. I'm really excited what happens this season, especially since the Barbaro is now not a graded stakes. I'm also really happy that the Go For Wand is back, but sad to see the Susan's Girl leave. Also back this year is the Sussex Stakes, one of my favorite grass races.
The DelCap and DelOaks will be held on seperate weekends now (not too thrilled about that as I will now have to choose which weekend), and there will be Thursday racing as well this year instead of Sunday racing. However, there are more stakes races, and of course there is the beautiful paddock.
The past few years, I've keep a thread on FHF (Fox Hill Farm)'s forum. I haven't decided if I'm going to do this year as I'm not a hundred percent sure how many times I really will get out there this year. I do plan on sharing pictures that I take from there this year as well. As I get more information, I will post it here.
As for tomorrow's Oaks preps, I'm hoping that She Be Wild and Blind Luck their races respectivly. Tomorrow's Preview post will be the three major preps for the Derby, as well as the Oaklawn Handicap and the Carter. Should be a good weekend of racing!
