Okay starting next week, I will be doing a video post? What do I mean by video post. Well, I'll be recording a video, using the web cam I have on my new laptop. Normally once a month, I'll post a video of my picks for that weekend's races.

Weekend at DP
Well, the weekend for me personally didn't go quite as planned. Unfortanlly I missed the Dick Memorial, due to my sister's complaining. And while all of the dirt stakes wins where awesome, they where all done on the lead. Plus, the winner of the Oaks, Careless Jewel, is already being compared to Rachel Alexandra, the only problem is, she's only made 4 starts and it's way too early for that comparison. Of course nothing to take from her win.
Also my laptop decided to stop responding not only to my camera, but to Movie Maker as well. So, I have a new laptop, and photos from the past two days sitting idle on my memory card, until I can figure out how to move my uploading software to my new laptop (my old one has XP, new one Vista).
So in conclution, not really a weekend recap. I'm still getting used to this computer and have to figure out away to upload the photos. So you maybe asking what's coming up for the next two weeks, the CCA Oaks is Saturday and I'll preview that. Also my Haskell preview for the week after will be coming a few days early, as I will be out of town Haskell weekend. I know, I'm going to miss Rachel vs the Boys: Part 2, but before her announcement to go into the race, I was informed that one of my favorite singers was going to be at our State Fair this year. So I bought tickets for a friend of mine and myself and we will be traveling down to Harrington, Delaware (ironicly there is a harness track there, but they will be on vacation while the Fair is going on).

It's coming back!
Stallion Spotlights will be returning in 2 weeks! I appologize for not doing them more often, unfortnlly the Triple Crown got in the way, then I had some internet problems, so I really wasn't able to research them. I will be doing Birdstone, Medaglia d'Oro and Real Quiet as I promised, then I will be doing some international based sires. Among those that I will be doing: Galieo, Monsun, Footstepsinthesand, Raven's Pass, Holy Roman Emporer and Cape Cross. I will most likely then head to the Japanese sires (i.e. Deep Impact, Roses in May, Silver Charm, Charismatic ect.), and Australia (Excluding shuttling horses!). So it's coming and this time I promise it will stick around until about 2 weeks before the Breeder's Cup and will return about 2 weeks after.
Also with Delaware Handicap weekend coming up soon, each day for next week, I will be focusing on some of the nominees for the 6 stakes races (3 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday). They include 4 graded stakes (Dick Memorial, DE Oaks, Barbaro and DelCap). So stay tuned for those!
