The sales topper was a filly by Malibu Moon out of the Holy Bull mare Never Fail for $300,000. Malibu Moon used to be stand in Maryland and is still quite popular around this area.

FT Eastern Preview

The Fasig Tipton Eastern Yearling Sale is the closest yearling sale to my home in Delaware. Taking place on Monday October 1^st, 2012 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, 375 horses will go through the ring. Since these horses have lesser quality pedigrees then those who might go through Saratoga or Keeneland sales, the prices will be lower. Never the less I was able to find some nice yearlings that made my list. Most of these horses listed where born in the Mid-Atlantic region.
