One of two Belmont winning sires possible for the Derby this
year. Won the 1992 Belmont and Breeders' Cup Classic to become
Horse of the Year. His sire Seattle Slew is the only undefeated
winner of the Triple Crown. Indy is the sire of many great horses
such as Preakness winner Bernardini (who will also be repasented
in this year's Derby by Alpha), and Belmont winner Rags to Riches
(the first filly to win the Belmont in over 100 years). He is the
broodmare sire of Derby runner up Bluegrass Cat (who will be
repped by Sabercat).

While he could only finish 9th in the 2004 Kentucky
Derby, Flower Alley won the Travers that summer at the same
distance as the Derby. He would go onto finish 2nd
behind Saint Liam. It wasn't enough to get 3yo Champion Male
honors though as Afleet Alex had done enough to win the Eclipse.
His rep in this year's Derby is one of 2 G1 winners he has, the
other is Ashland winner Lilacs and Lace.
